Everything you need to know about APA format!

Wow, if you struggle with APA format for your research papers, take a look at this excellent tutorial that was developed by Wendy Mages, a doctoral student at Harvard Graduate School of Education. It’s called “APA Exposed: Everything you always wanted to know about APA format but were afraid to ask!”

The Citation Machine website is also very helpful, http://citationmachine.net/. It is a free service that will help you format your APA citations. On the Citation Machine home page, you will see the list of 4 Citation Formats on the left of the screen. Select APA. Then select from the list of Print and Non Print resource types. If you don’t see your resource type in the list, click on “more resources” (to the right of APA). Online databases such as EBSCOHost are considered “Work from a subscription service.” Once you select the resource type, fill out the form with all the required info; author, title, etc. When you click on “submit,” Citation machine will generate the citation for you.
