Finding great articles
To find great magazine or journal articles, you can access the Lightner Library’s online databases from home; all you need is your Keuka e-mail address and password. What is an online database? It is a large, organized collection of articles and information that you can access online. These articles are not available free through the Web, you can only access them through the Lightner Library website by using your Keuka e-mail user name and password.

If you’re looking for journal articles, EBSCOHost is a good place to start. Within EBSCOHost is a collection of 20 databases. Academic Search Premier is the default database that you search unless you select others. Be sure to scroll down the list and see what EBSCO offers. For instance, OM students might be interested in also taking a look in the Business Source Premier database; Nursing students would want to search Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition; Criminal Justice students might prefer searching PsycARTICLES.
An important thing to remember is before you hit that SEARCH button, be sure to check the Full Text box that will limit your search to Full Text Articles.
If you are interested in scholarly or academic articles, be sure to check the Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Box.
